- Hello,
- after the power-supply of my trusty old A2000 blew up, I replaced it with a
- PC-power supply. This seems to work fine (yes I set the jumpers correct) the
- amiga now boots and shows workbench, however the following problems remain:
- - the mouse does not move the pointer (however I can move the pointer with the
- keyboard, and the mouse itself is ok on another A2000)
- - the mouse-buttons work ok, but double-clicking a program freezes the
- machine.
- - furthermore, the screen-coulours look rather "washed-out" with little
- contrast.
-
- Can anyone suggest which component(s) may be responsible for this behaviour? I
- have already replaced the gary-chip, and the denise chip (although I am not
- entirely sure about the status of the replacement denise).
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Remco
